Photo guide
Good photos,
great stories.
Everything you need to know about choosing and sharing photos for your storybook.
Before you send
Six tips for the best book
Send the originals
Share photos straight from your phone or camera roll rather than screenshots or forwarded copies — they print sharper.
Old prints are welcome
Photograph old prints flat, in daylight, without flash. We restore what we can.
Mix moments and close-ups
Faces up close, wide family scenes and small details — a toy, a tiny hand — make the richest spreads.
Blurry is fine
A slightly blurry photo of a big moment beats a perfect one of nothing. We’ll tell you if one won’t print well.
Include the people around them
Grandparents, cousins, the neighbour who babysits — the people make the story.
Add a line if you can
A date, a place or a funny thing they said helps our writers put each photo in the right chapter.
How many photos
Room for every little moment
How to share
Three easy ways
Send from your phone
Share your photos with us on WhatsApp, or send a Google Drive or Google Photos link.
Prefer chatting? Send photos and voice notes to our team on WhatsApp.
Kept private
Only our crafting team sees your photos, and you can ask us to delete them after delivery.
Send them to us on WhatsApp, or share a Google Drive or Google Photos link — whichever is easier. No need to sort or caption them.
Vidhai includes up to 40 photographs, Thulir up to 100 and Malar up to 150.
Send them anyway — blurry, old or scanned prints are fine. We restore what we can and tell you if a photo won’t print well.
Only our crafting team working on your book. We never post or share your photos without your permission.
