A father, a phone full of photos, and a book that didn’t exist.
Thulori makes personalised childhood memory books from the photos families already have. Here’s why we started, and who makes your book.
Why Thulori exists
Thulori was started by Praveen N, a product designer and a father. When his child was small, he wanted what most parents want: a proper printed album to keep. The usual route meant a professional photoshoot and a studio album, and the cost and the waiting were both far more than he expected.
Meanwhile, the real album was already there: hundreds of photos on the family’s phones. The first bath, the first laugh, grandparents’ visits, the ordinary Tuesdays. What was missing wasn’t photos. It was a way to bring them together with the stories behind them, before those stories were forgotten.
So he designed one. A Thulori book is part photo album, part journal and part storybook: your own photos, your memories and your words, shaped into a story about your child. Our editions are named in Tamil for how things grow:Vidhai (seed), Thulir (sprout) and Malar (bloom).

Praveen sets the direction for every book himself, with a six-member design team who lay out each page by hand.
Printed in Chennai
We print with a trusted printing partner in Chennai, using premium covers and paper of the same quality as traditional albums.
Shipped across India
Boxed, gift-wrapped and sent by tracked courier. Vidhai and Thulir take at least 7–10 days once we have your photos; Malar about twice as long.

You approve every page
We send you the full book as a digital proof. Nothing is printed until you say it’s right.
Your photos stay private
Only the team working on your book sees them. Ask us and we permanently delete them after delivery.
